Prose: Gold Pages [Mini Read]

a bouquet of dried purple dyed flowers lays beside a two-toned yarn bowl, a baby blue scrunchie and other items on a pastel polka dot background.
A blue smiley face yarn bowl among items like the Spring At Blueberry Bay book and a baby blue scrunchie on a pastel polka dot background.

Your life is like a gold bound book
precious and ever so worthy
it has chapters and pages
paragraphs and sentences
some purely and immensely miserable
others with a bounce and a skip
separate ones with in-between vibes
each, however, hold a value
and if you’re halfway through the words
the end is far yet to come
in the meantime before the final letters
they’ll be smiles once again
~

Talking about pages, I’ve published a new blog talking about the books I’ve read whilst away. I hope you’ll enjoy it; the latest in the A Book Log series. 💜
