There was a girl
so beautiful, bright and brave
courageous, caring and cute
loving, loveable and legendary

In her eyes was the future
in her personality was the fireworks
in her voice was the flames
in her soul was the final half of mine

She came into my life, adding
such colour – as if a filter placed
one with sparkle and warm
ravishing and wandering spirit

It was the beginning of everything
with no race times, just love and patience
yet one month of dating felt like years
